Hi! My name is Diana and I’m a huge fan of good food. Even though I’ve always liked being in the kitchen playing around with different ingredients, it wasn’t until a few years ago that it became a passion of mine. I was born in Colombia but was raised in the U.S. and I try to be closer to my culture and my roots through its cuisine. Thanks to the Internet, cooking magazines and T.V. shows, I have learned how to make many of the dishes I loved in Colombia and now I want to share them with all of you. I am also very proud of the fact that I grew up in the U.S., a place that is filled with different types of people, cultures and of course, food! This has been a huge influence in my life and in the way I cook at home, from good old fashioned comfort food to rich and delicious desserts we all enjoy. I’ve decided to make this a bilingual blog by translating all posts myself since I have never liked the translations that are done through an engine. We’ll see how it goes. But that’s me, a bicultural gal, with a little bit of this and that, and happy to be able to share my diversity with you through this site. Hope you enjoy it!
