Vanilla Milkshake

It’s been a very hot summer this year and all we do is eat or crave cold things like raspados, a delicious lemonade and even a juicy Colombian fruit cocktail. And because my whole family loves ice cream, especially my husband, I also like making things that can be served with it like a Colombian fruit salad or a delicious milkshake.

After the last time I made this really basic, yet delicious vanilla milkshake I thought, why not share it on the blog since it’s so good and extremely easy to make?

So, here it is. I had not posted it before because like I said, it’s sooooooooooooo easy to make that even a young kid would get a kick out of making something that comes out tasting so incredibly good.

¡Buen provecho!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (16 oz) vanilla ice cream
  • ½1 cup (48 oz or 120240 ml) whole milk
  • Sugar to taste (I use between ½-1 tbsp depending on the sweetness of the ice cream)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Blend all the ingredients in a blender and serve. If you want it to have a thinner consistency, add more milk. If you want it thicker, you can add more ice cream.
